Although paintings and drawings are silent forms, they possess a distinct narrative power. Through visual language, I construct stories that invite viewers to enter layered worlds of symbol, memory, and imagination.

My recent work examines the human condition through folklore-inspired characters that embody emotional states such as pain, happiness, greed, and anger. Rooted in Slavic mythology, these anthropomorphic figures allow me to explore the tension between personal memory and collective storytelling. I am drawn to these subjects for their nostalgic resonance as well as for the introspection they provoke, revealing the complexity of human nature through tales passed from one generation to the next.

Pattern functions as a visual rhythm within my work, echoing the cadence and movement of music. By using a limited palette of bold, flat colors, I direct attention to the pulse of the narrative and the movement within each composition. My work asks viewers to look beyond surface and form, toward the emotional and symbolic structures beneath.

Negative space plays an essential role in this process, allowing the paper itself to become an active material in the narrative. I invite viewers to read through the brushstrokes and between the lines, discovering meaning in what is drawn as well as in what is left open to imagination.
